March 14, and again in early May, Calgary communities explore the legacy of urbanist Jane Jacobs.  Jacobs was an urban activist and writer who championed the interests of local residents and mixed, pedestrian-oriented urban communities. She is best known for her landmark work, "The Death and Life of Great American Cities".
